Finally, you'll enjoy tasting the dishes you’ve cooked together.
What we will do
-
Meeting at the Pharmacy
We'll first meet you at Pharmacie Bab Doukkala. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, and we'll join you shortly after. When you get to the meeting spot, you may find that others are already waiting.
-
Starting the local market tour
Once everyone has arrived, we'll take a quick tour of a local market to buy vegetables and other essential ingredients for cooking. You'll be the one selecting the veggies, and afterward, we'll head to our home, which is just a short walk from the market.
-
Making mint tea
When we arrive home, we'll teach you how to prepare traditional Moroccan mint tea, and we'll enjoy it together while getting to know each other better.
-
Start cooking
After enjoying the tea, you'll begin cooking under the guidance of our chef, Hassan. He'll serve as your instructor, but you'll handle everything—from peeling and cutting to seasoning your tagines and other dishes. This portion of the class requires the most time and effort. You'll typically start with the dishes that need longer to cook and then move on to those that take less time. Naturally, everyone will be involved throughout the entire cooking class.
-
Enjoying the meal
Once you've finished cooking, you'll get to enjoy the meal you've prepared. The food is served buffet-style, allowing you to sample a variety of dishes.
